Pacific Crest Corporation Announces New PDL Product Features

SANTA CLARA, Calif., September 18, 2005 – Pacific Crest Corporation, a leading manufacturer of wireless communication equipment designed for position centric and environmental applications, has announced new features to be included in upcoming versions of its well-known PDL High Power Base (HPB) and Low Power Base (LPB) products, which are type approved internationally.

New versions of the HPB, which already include 20 MHz splits, will now include an "auto power on" feature that enables the radio to automatically turn on after being connected to a power source. For instance, if a power outage were to occur affecting your radio, then when the power is restored your radio would automatically turn on.

The latest version of the LPB now includes both "auto power on" and 20 MHz splits. This bandwidth consolidation improves the user's flexibility to select from a smaller pool of radio products that cover a larger range of frequencies and countries. The 20 MHz splits will directly benefit customers by simplifying their ordering, logistics, and inventory processes and procedures.
